Reader safety

Care before certainty.

Some questions carry consequences that a chart cannot safely answer. This policy explains where our astrology coverage stops and direct professional help should begin.

If someone is in danger

Contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service now. Do not wait for an astrological reading, transit, or second opinion from this site.

What this policy covers

Vedic Astrology Space publishes articles that may discuss mental health, addiction, self-harm, abuse, coercive relationships, fertility, sexuality, eating disorders, serious illness, death, and fear of occult harm. Readers may arrive at these pages during a vulnerable period. We therefore apply tighter language and evidence standards to them than we would to an article about a general technique.

The policy applies to headlines, descriptions, article text, images, internal links, and practical suggestions. It also informs our correction process. A disclaimer at the end of an article does not repair a harmful claim made earlier on the page.

Limits of astrology

Astrology is presented here as a traditional symbolic and interpretive practice. It can offer language for reflection, show how astrologers organize a question, or describe the timing associated with a chart factor. It does not provide scientific proof of a medical condition, another person's behavior, a crime, spiritual attack, paternity, fertility, or immediate risk.

No single placement, yoga, dosha, dasha, or transit establishes a sensitive conclusion. Repetition across a chart may support an astrological interpretation, but it still does not become a diagnosis or factual investigation. We avoid claims that present a probability as fate.

Health and mental health

Our articles do not diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure physical or mental health conditions. Symptoms, test results, medication decisions, pregnancy concerns, substance dependence, and changes in mood or behavior belong with qualified health professionals. A reader should not stop medication, therapy, or treatment because of anything published here.

Astrological remedies may be described as religious, cultural, or reflective practices. They should be used alongside appropriate care, not in place of it. Fasting, gemstones, herbs, supplements, breath practices, and strenuous rituals can carry physical or financial risks. Readers should consider their health, beliefs, and professional advice before adopting them.

Self-harm and immediate danger

A birth chart cannot determine whether someone will attempt suicide, harm another person, or remain safe during a crisis. Articles may discuss periods of isolation, exhaustion, or emotional collapse, but they cannot assess an individual's immediate risk.

If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or if you cannot stay safe, stop using this site and contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service. If possible, move toward a trusted person and tell them plainly what is happening.

When another person talks about self-harm or violence, take the statement seriously. Do not use astrology to test whether the danger is real.

Abuse and coercion

Astrology cannot prove that abuse has occurred, and it must never be used to excuse it. No placement makes a victim responsible for another person's violence, control, stalking, threats, or financial coercion. Compatibility scores and marriage timing are irrelevant when immediate safety is at stake.

Someone facing abuse should seek practical support from a trusted person, a qualified service, local authorities, or legal counsel as appropriate. Leaving can carry risk, so generic advice from an article may be unsafe. A specialist can help plan around the person's actual circumstances.

Sexuality, fertility, and identity

We do not treat LGBTQ+ identities as illnesses, defects, punishments, or conditions in need of a remedy. Historical texts may reflect the social attitudes of their period. Discussing those attitudes does not make them an acceptable judgment of a person today. A chart cannot verify or invalidate someone's stated orientation or gender.

Fertility and paternity are medical and factual questions. Astrology cannot confirm pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, biological parentage, or the safety of a pregnancy. Readers should use appropriate testing and medical care. Family decisions also belong to the people involved, whether they want children, choose adoption, delay parenthood, or remain childfree.

Spiritual fear and remedies

Articles about black magic, evil eye, doshas, curses, or difficult planetary periods can intensify fear. We discuss these ideas as parts of astrological and religious traditions, not as verified explanations for illness, abuse, financial loss, or unusual sensory experiences. Practical causes and professional care should be considered first.

Be cautious with anyone who promises certainty, demands secrecy, asks for escalating payments, or says that only they can remove a threat. A remedy should not create debt, dependency, isolation, or fear. Readers are free to decline a practice and to seek another opinion.

Report a concern
