Reading the site should not require handing over a personal profile. This policy explains the limited information involved in delivering the publication and responding to readers.

The short version
We do not sell personal data, run behavioral advertising, or require a reader account. We use limited information to deliver the site, protect it, and respond when you contact us.
Privacy at a glance
This Privacy Policy applies to vedicastrology.space. It covers information received when you load a page, write to the editorial desk, report a correction, or use a subscription feature. It does not govern an external website reached through a link.
We collect less information by keeping the site open and account free. We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use it to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, housing, or eligibility for a service. The separate Cookie Policy explains our current use of browser storage and similar technology.
Information we receive
Information you choose to provide
If you email us or send a message through a connected form, we may receive your name, email address, subject, message, and any information you include. A correction report may include an article URL and supporting material. If a newsletter subscription service is active, it receives the email address submitted for that purpose.
Please do not send birth records, medical files, identity documents, payment details, or urgent requests for help. The editorial inbox is not designed to store sensitive case histories or provide personal consultations.
Information created when the site loads
A web server and hosting provider may process an IP address, request time, browser and device information, referring page, requested URL, and basic error or security data. This is standard request information used to return a page and protect the service. We do not currently use it to build advertising profiles about individual readers.
How and why we use it
We use personal information for limited purposes:
- to deliver pages and maintain the security and reliability of the site;
- to respond to editorial messages, permission requests, and correction reports;
- to send a newsletter when a reader has asked to receive it;
- to investigate misuse, technical faults, or threats to the service; and
- to meet a legal obligation or protect legal rights.
Depending on the context and applicable law, these activities may rely on your consent, the steps needed to provide a requested service, our legitimate interest in running a secure editorial website, or a legal obligation. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful.
Retention
Editorial correspondence is generally kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange so that we can follow a correction or permission request. A message may be kept longer when an unresolved dispute, legal duty, or published correction requires a record. Messages that contain unnecessary sensitive information may be deleted sooner.
Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or the mailing list closes. A limited suppression record may remain so that a delivery provider does not add an unsubscribed address again by mistake. Hosting and security logs follow the provider's operational schedule, which can change as infrastructure changes. We can request current details from the provider when responding to a specific privacy inquiry.
International processing
The website is available internationally. Hosting, email, and security providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy laws and government access rules differ between countries.
Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we expect the relevant provider or agreement to use an approved legal mechanism. Contact us if you need information about a transfer connected to your own request.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have a right to ask whether we hold personal data about you and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the privacy regulator in your location.
Send a request from the email address involved so that we can identify the relevant record. We may ask for limited additional information when needed to verify the request and protect another person's privacy. Some records may be retained when the law permits or requires it, such as a record needed to establish a legal claim.
Newsletter messages should include an unsubscribe method when the service is active. You may also request removal by email.
Children and young readers
The site is written for a general audience and includes articles about sexuality, addiction, abuse, fertility, and mental health. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly ask a child to provide personal information.
A young person who cannot consent independently under the law where they live should use contact or subscription features only with a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete information submitted by a child.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures suited to a small editorial website. No internet service can promise absolute security. Avoid sending information that the publication does not need.
We will update this policy when data practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version. A material change that affects an active subscription or similar service may also be communicated through that service.
